Incredibly large (12″ x 8″) inflorescences of ‘Pink Diamond’ open in late summer a cream color, and then, gradually starting at the base of the panicle, turn a rich shade of pink. The flower panicles are held upright and are composed of both sterile and fertile flowers. Selected from a seedling of ‘Unique’, this beautiful introduction from DeBelders of Belgium tolerates pruning well and is at its best in full sun. Rarely to never fed on by Japanese beetles.
