Variegated Japanese Iris

Noted for its striking vertically-striped variegated foliage, this Japanese iris blooms in late spring. The light lavender-blue flowers are great for cutting. Tolerant of wet soils, it is happy at the edge of a pond, or even grown in a container submerged in water.
