Bleeding Heart

Botanical Name: Dicentra spectabilis

A garden favorite for years with long racemes of heart-shaped pink flowers. Blooms from mid-spring to June. Moist, well-drained soil. Foliage dies back in midsummer, so mix with hostas, astilbes and ferns.
