Botanical Name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Yaku Jima'An ideal grass for smaller gardens. Leaf blades are green and arch gracefully downward. Tiny buff flowers with red tinges emerge in fluffy panicles above foliage in August-September. Panicles fade to silver in fall. Foliage turns reddish-brown in fall, fading to tan over winter.
