Strictus Porcupine Grass

Botanical Name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus'

Rigid and upright in habit, 'Strictus' has striking cream colored horizontal bands on the foliage. Strictus produces a flower plume in climates where there is a long, hot growing season. Flowers appear in autumn, and are a pinkish copper plume that matures to reddish tan for winter.
