Pioneer Chinese Apricot

A late blooming apricot, ideal for higher elevations and climates prone to late spring frosts. Golden-yellow fruits have a reddish blush, and are sweet, firm and juicy. Trees bear young and heavily. Called a "sweet pit apricot" as its pit is edible and tastes of almond. Self-fruitful, however yields improve with cross-pollination.

What Our Clients Have to Say

Very quick with estimating, designing and completing our work. Final total even came in a little less. Guys worked fast and hard and did an amazing job on our flower gardens and planting new trees. Friendly, fast and efficient workers! I would highly recommend Zehr's Flowers and Landscaping!!!!

When I shopped at Zehr’s I was greeted by a worker with the friendly, “Is there anything I can help you with?” greeting and then escorted to the area where the specific shrub I was looking for was located. It saved me time and I greatly appreciated that!
