  • First Editions® Technito® Arborvitae

    Technito® has the attractive dark green color of 'Techny' and retains it through winter just as well. This cultivar, being noticeably more dense, is an improvement because it will require less shearing. Forms a compact pyramidal outline. Discovered by Johnson's Nursery, Inc. of Wisconsin and co-introduced by Johnson's Nursery, Inc. and Bailey Nurseries, Inc., of St. Paul, Minnesota in 2006. (C®)

  • Grey Owl Juniper

    One of the best evergreens for hot, poor, dry soil and city conditions. A vigorous ground cover with few faults. Foliage is a smoky blue-gray and holds its color well in winter. Generally produces an abundance of silvery berries, often used for winter decorations. May be pruned or sheared to shape. Easily transplanted.

  • Mr. Bowling Ball® Arborvitae

    An excellent choice for a low-maintenance landscape. This versatile, perfectly round evergreen can be used in borders, rock gardens, to enhance foundation plantings or highlighted as a specimen, especially in formal gardens. The foliage varies dramatically from more common arborvitae. Soft, finely textured needles are sage green and almost feathery in appearance.     One of the best varieties for cold climates. When many other arborvitae look yellow-brown in winter, 'Nigra' retains its deep, dark green color. Easy to prune. Useful as a specimen, accent, hedge and commonly found in foundation plantings. Prefers deep, well-drained soil and full sun.
