It is a second generation business handed down from Samantha's parents Lonnie and Tina Zehr. At Zehr's Flowers and Landscaping we are keeping a tradition of carrying the highest quality plants, hard goods, and services. Zehr's Flowers and Landscaping is both a member of the N.Y.S. nursery dealer association and the N.Y.S. flower industry. What does that mean? That means they are kept up to date by ceminars, editorials, and physical support. They have experts inspect their plants coming to location to answer questions, provide insight, and diagnose problems. This is not only done with invetory plants, but also with any problems accuring with native plants in the area.
        Zehr's Flowers is a Proven Winner certified garden center. As a certified Proven Winner dealer they are able to carry the Proven Winner and Proven Selection brand of hybrid plants. These plants are a benefit to our area because they not only get bigger than traditional annuals; but bloom sooner and longer into the fall providing the longest bloom time possible. Proven Winner brand annuals are avalible in 4" cups, hanging baskets, and ground combination pots. Zehr's Flowers also carry a variety of Proven Winner perennials and shrubs. Zehr's Flowers also carry a large variety of traditional annuals, vegetables, perennials, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, and seeds.
        Zehr's Flowers is constantly updating and expanding hard good material. They carry a large array of products; dirt, compost, peat moss, potting soil, pro-mix, fertilizer, mulch, pots, contianers, and stone products. Zehr's Flowers carry all the pots they use for the do-it-yourself gardener in the retail shop. This allows anyone to replicate a product found at Zehr's Flower for themselves.
        Zehr's Landscaping is a full service landscape business, which provides service in garden maintenance, installation of all kinds of plant material, lawn installation, irrigation installation, pruning and trimming trees and shrubs, stone patios, walkways, stairs, and retaining walls. Zehr's Landscaping serve Lewis, Jefferson, Onieda, and St. Lawrence counties. They serve both commercial as well as residential properties, offering free estimates and are fully insured.
